Nissan Qashqai 1.5DCI endless engine and system issues.

I have a Nissan QashQai, 2021 1.5DCI. I bought the car at IC Nissan Roodepoort in 2021 April. I bought the car brand new from them and it was driving perfect. I take it to service on time at the same dealership whenever it is due. It is now on 70 000KM and I regret ever walking to Nissan and purchasing this car.

A month ago I was travelling to Limpopo( Polokwane) and on my way I refuelled my diesel with a full tank at the Total petroport on the N14 before Diepsloot. Usually my gauge range on full tank gives me about 800km but that day to my surprise it gave me over a thousand km. I did not make anything of it, and I continued with my journey to Limpopo. It was driving as normal and gauge working as normal. I made it back here without having to put more diesel in it and I drove for a few days back here in Jhb with it until it needed to be refuelled over the weekend. I was not driving it everyday it was a few days in a week and id use my other car which is Nissan as well.

When I went to a Caltex in Roodepoort to refuel the tank was kicking the diesel out as if the car is full with diesel. I thought it's the diesel from Caltex , I then proceeded to the nearest BP and the same thing happened. I could not put diesel in the car. I called Nissan to explain and they took the car in and I was told there's a fuel contamination and I need to recondition one injector and get a new diesel filter etc.... To my surprise this is not covered by warranty, yet this was not a wear and tear or fault on my part. I went to Total N14 where I initially put the first diesel in and explained, they told me there was a lot of other diesel cars that used the same diesel I used but never came back to complain of any issues I experienced. By the way, I often refuel in this total, it was not my first time.

To cut the long story short, my car is still in the dealership as we speak, I can't afford to pay for the quote I was sent to replace parts that I had no hand in breaking and it is also not wear and tear. I believe something was wrong with my car even before I poured the diesel that day as my system fault light is forever on and tyre pressure light as well which I told them about and they "fixed" but 20km after I picked up the car the lights came back on again.

To say I am not satisfied by the service is an understatement, I am paying a hefty price for this car but this is going into my 2nd month without driving it. Nissan QashQai is a great car and I like it, only when it's still new, as soon as it starts it's problems the dealership will distance itself and you deal with it yourself. When you buy the car they will tell you should anything happen they got your back, absolute nonsense!

I am giving it a 0 rating and I would not advise anyone to trust or try it after my experience. Try Nissan at your own risk, all they want is for you to keep paying, the car is still in full warranty but every little issue I have with it I have to pay, yet I bought with warranty!

Absolute absolute disgrace and disappointing service from Nissan. I have other cars and I do not experience issues like this with them, so this is a Nissan issue because I have had this issue before with an NP200 I have with them, they forgot to close the water tank and it overheated and blew the top of the engine and they still blamed me!
