Nissan np200 (43 000) on the clock, clutch GONE?

When I bought my np200 I bought it new. I'm now in my fifth year of having my Nissan bakkie and I'm experiencing clutch problems. My np200 can't even be called a run around vehicle as I drive it maybe not even 3 times a week. In the last Nearly 5 years the mileage on my bakkie is a measly 43 000 km..ONLY. I called Nissan and their excuse was simply 'we don't cover clutch'... (conveniently). This bakkie is not my every day driving car, in fact... My everyday driving car is a polo tsi ,also (5 years old) and the clutch has no problems (as Nissan try's to shift blame for my clutch issue on my negligence) my argument is simple.. Im a pentioner, this bakkie was simply my backup vehicle, I drive it even less than my polo, how after 43 000 has my clutch packed up? I'm a pentioner, this vehicle was to be my retirement knock around vehicle however... I hevent even had a chance to knock around with it and the clutch is gone.. No sense of responsibility toward their product or after sales . WONT BE recommending them to anyone at all. I suggest VW. I have had my new polo for over 4 years brand new, great after sales service..nissan??PATHETIC
