Nissan NP 200 catches fire after being serviced

I had concluded a cash purchase of the above mentioned vehicle from End Street Nissan dealership in Gauteng on 6 March 2015 and accepted delivery on 10 March 2015.
On 9 March 2016 the vehicle had its first service of approximately 15000kms by Nissan and was collected on 10 March 2016. After service the vehicle was overheating. I noticed the radiator cap was not replaced. Nissan was notified and they had requested that the vehicle be brought back to them on 14 March 2016. I had fetched the vehicle on the 15 March 2016.
18 March 2016, 3 days after service, the vehicle caught alight in the engine while driving. I immediately notified the dealership.
I have held numerous conversations with the dealership but was told that they cannot assist me as the fire could have apparently been caused by a cigarette thrown onto the road. I am surprised by a response of this calibre as I cannot understand why other vehicles are then not randomly catching a light.
Nissan SA has till now not been responsible and accountable for their actions either. They are simply trying to push the matter onto our insurance company. A thorough investigation is required before saying it cant be your fault
