Nissan Magnite - what a dissapointment with multiple issues
I purchased a Nissan Magnite in late 2021, in December 2022, my front left tyre developed a large bubble. I was not able to get a new tyre from any tyre merchant as apparently none of the tyre wholesalers stock this specific brand of tyre. The merchant put my spare tyre onto the rim in order for me to drive and I have been using the tyre with the bubble as my spare tyre. Then, on 9 February 2023, my vehicle did not start and I had to contact Nissan Assist to tow my vehicle to the dealership. I received no feedback from the service department, and had to continuously call them to find out what was going on with my vehicle, finally, after 5 days, I got my car back and was informed that it was the "earth cable" that had burnt and that this had been the third or fourth vehicle in a week that had experience the same problem. Then, on 12 March 2023 again, my front left tyre developed a bubble, and again, none of the merchants (Tiger wheel & tyre, HiQ, Supaquick) are able to find me this specific tyre. My vehicle has slightly more than 16 000km on the clock, and I have to replace 2 tyres which I am unable to find anywhere as no one stocks these tyres? Furthermore, I do not understand how it is possible that two tyres have had the exact same problem in the exact same place on a brand new vehicle, and how the earth cable has burnt out in just over a year.
Over and above that, my brakes sound like they have been worn through, screeching and making a noise at every stop, but lets remember I have just over 16 000km on the clock.
The extra trim that I paid for keeps falling off and I have to stick it back on (which I've now stopped because it is going to fall off and I'll have to pay for it to be replaced.
At times when I take my car out of park, it feels like I'm going to break the gearbox as it is so tight and stiff and it makes a terrible sound.
The back windows stop working at times and only start working again when the vehicle has been switched off and back on again.
Carplay stops working for long periods of time while I'm driving.
But right now, my biggest concern is the tyres. How on earth do you bring a vehicle into SA and people can't replace the tyres? It makes no sense.
