Nissan - long waiting period for parts that should be available - do not expect service

My 2017 Nissan xtrail broke down 8 days ago and was taken to the Nissan Tygervalley workshop. After many unanswered calls and promises I was told it is the fuel pump and that it will be replaced as still under warranty. Unfortunately no fuel pumps are available in SA. No problem they will have one by 15 Dec 21. After many calls Nissan prepared to give me a rental, but if anything happens to the rental the first R8000 is for my account. I still pay my insurance on my own Nissan with no excess amount because I am on a executive insurance package. According to Nissan that is my problem.
