Nissan Eastern Cape- Bad Service
I am disappointed with Nissan Eastern Cape. I bought a car from them in 2023, Nissan Magnite to be exact, brand new. I am experiencing rust, on top of the windscreen. They did a rust inspection on the 15 July when my car went in for a service. A month later a phoned them to enquire about the report of the rust inspection. I was informed that there is indeed rust on my car, they are waiting for approval from warranty. The lady informed me it normally take 2 months because there's a long quee. I phoned them again after 2 months, bare in mind they never phone me, I had to call them. No, they are still waiting for warranty approval. I told the lady I would appreciate if they can fix it the next week because I will be on leave and won't need a car. She then said she will speak to her manager to phone Nissan SA for approval. She phoned me back a few days later to inform me they are still waiting, but she will arrange a loan car in case I need I car to drive with. It's now 3 months, I had to ask my husband to sort it out because I'm not getting any satisfaction. He phoned then on Monday, they arranged for the car to be fix a day later and gave a loan car. I was very happy because I thought finally it's going to be resolved. The car went to the body shop for 1 day and came back the next. They did not fix the rust on my roof, saying that it's because of stone chips and it's not covered by warranty. The rust is under the paint, there is not stone chip on that spot. There is no evidence of a stone chip on the roof. I'm dissatisfied with their service.
I'm so disturbed by this dishonesty. I brought a brand new vehicle from them, 2 years later it's starting to rust.
Why are they treating their customers like this?
