New Qashqai problems and poor response
Bought a new Qashqai from Bruma Nissan in April. It has been to dealer for oil leaks and brake problems on 3 occasions. This last problem meant my car was in for over a week. The attitude from Nissan SA and Bruma Nissan was shocking. Nobody could tell me when my car would be ready. Requests for a replacement vehicle as, I believe I have a faulty vehicle, fell on deaf ears. Even letting them know I need a vehicle as I was going away fell on deaf ears. I did have a Datsun go as a courtesy vehicle, but that would not have been able to take me on my trip. The response from service manager was that your vehicle is safe to be used and let's book it in when you come back. Warning lights indicating brake issues constantly come on and they say the vehicle is safe. Come on! Eventually it was determined a software upgrade was required. Only a Nissan tech from Pretoria can do this. Dean is his name. This was trying to get hold of a needle in a haystack. The day before I am due to leave at 5pm I am sitting in the office and wow we get hold of him. 2 hrs later I have my car. Why could it not have been done earlier? Why did I have to make a noise before it was attended to? Your attitude stinks
