New car battery died in 1yr

I got a demo 2021 Nissan Qashqai tekna CTV mileage was just 600 now I'm at 28kkm, my car suddenly didn't start on Sunday morning had to boost it, Mon again system failure. I was initially impressed as my car switches off everything when locked, radio switch off after 10min if ignition is off. I went to Nissan north west and they said they'll check it. If not covered by warranty I'll have to pay R850 for diagnosing. At 1yr only and I have to replace the battery and the warranty covers 50% only. Its technology works when it's on, while battery charges itself. I use the car daily. I'm not prepared to pay for the replacement of the battery 9days after 1ry. When it was a demo I didn't own it and I suspect the system is faulty as it doesn't behave like a new car to finish the battery so quickly ly. Does Nissan expect buyers to replace the battery every year? I'm disappointed and hurt by this planned expense for me. Next year 75% for another "new battery". I need another way to resolve and protect my rights as a customer.
