NEVER CONSIDER BUYING A NISSAN NP200!!!
The Nissan NP200 Vehicle was bought in April 2018 from Atlantis Nissan Centurion. The first service (22 March 2019 KM reading 7047) i was not happy with the service and the faults on the vehicle. None of the faults i reported on the vehicle was fixed and repaired properly. Second service (23 March 2020 KM reading 15822) faults were reported again as well as the clutch that was shattering. I was informed by the workshop manager from Atlantis Nissan Centurion that i have to pay to fix the clutch. Only after IF it is discovered that it is a factory fault, i might be refunded. It is unacceptable that a vehicle with only 15822 kilometers on the clock have mechanical problems, especially the shuttering of the clutch. How is it possible that a vehicle with such low mileage have a faulty clutchplate??? I need to mention that on both service occasions the vehicle was left at the workshop for five working days. This is totally unacceptable and questionable when it comes to the quality of vehicles sold by Nissan. I received a courtesy call from Nissan after the service and i indicated my disappointment. On 01 April 2020 i received a service survey email from Nissan customer focus. I again explained my dissatisfaction and disappointment regarding numerous faults on my vehicle which is not attended to. Up to date the issues are still unresolved and i am still very unhappy with my purchase. I haven't receive any response whatsoever from Nissan South Africa. I regret buying a nissan as a pensioners vehicle, as there is no aftersale service and assistance when a problem occurs. If one looks at the history of complaints locked at the dealer, it is NOT ONLY the faulty clutch, but the Electric Window and the vibration on the fan. Pathetic is an understatement!!!!
