My other not so wonderful Nissan Experience

My other wonderful Nissan experience at BB Nissan Gezina.

I bought the Nissan Micra next to the BB Nissan Garage. On my first service I reported the brakes squeeling. Nissan said it would cost R1700 for new brakes after they inspected it and skim the brakes on a vehicle that hadnt done 15 000km. I decided to take it to an independant Mechanic because this doesnt sound right. Turns out BB nissan ****. The brakes where not finished and did not need skimming. There was a problem with the brake pad material that was causing the problem. I witnessed this myself. I had the brake pads changed even though they had not even warn half way and have not had a problem since.

Awesome job at building client trust Nissan, The story doesnt end there. I asked them to fix the side mirror cover which they didnt do. And now my wonderful experience of me being stupid enough to trust Nissan again with servicing my vehicle. Regardless of your ridiculous Service costs and then wanting to charge R1200 for a fuel line clean on a 60 000km service and a fan belt for over R1700. I now need to make payment. BB Nissan do not accept proof of payments regardless of our long standing relationship that extends back 10years. I now have to find someone with an FNB account to make a payment so it reflects in their bank before they release the car.

I get a transfer done from an FNB account, then I get told they still cant release the car because their accounts department only opens at 8am. Like what the heck is up with your ******* customer service. Do you serious not want any more customers. I am sick and tired of my Nissan experiences!!!

Nissan needs some serious help on how customer service works and how even though a situation is not in the clients favour that you help the customer feel like they have it under control. Nissan does not understand how to do this and it will cost you dearly! If you need help contact me and I will get a Training Coach to assist you in your customer service training.

How to inform a customer before hand about the fact that you cannot release a car without payment in your bank account before the service commences. And that a proof of payment is not good enough. and that if it is not from FNB the vehicle will have to wait 2 days to be collected.

Seriously, sort out your customer service as this is not an isolated event and my experience at two different branches. Please send me a list of authorised NISSAN service centres that are not NISSAN branded. I dont want a biased dealer who cares about his pocket only and deliveres a honest quality service and a reasonable price.
