Missing Nissan Magnite!

For the 1st time in my life I decided to buy a new car for myself. After months of searching, testing & deliberation I finally decided on the new 2021 Nissan Magnite 1.0T Manual - arctic white. Being a Nissan owner myself I went to a dealership in Bellville & asked if we can look at a trade-in. They ended up offerring me R40 000 for a vehicle that still retailed at R97 000. Luckily I found a private buyer, so crisis diverted. With much excitement I signed the OTP (with extras & service plan extensions included) on 12/10/2021 and paid part deposit (large amount & which accumulates no interest) same night. I were told it would take 4-6 weeks for delivery, which I used as estimate for my own vehicle sale & I then rented a vehicle for remaining period.

I were since offered a new vehicle with hail damage (which were professionally fixed), but it just didn't feel right to buy a brand new car & you know it's actually NOT brand new. The sales executive constantly were in contact & I were told another batch of vehicles were expected 25/11... which were just past the 6 week mark. I were still ok with this as I need the vehicle for my upcoming December holiday & when I intented to go travel with it. Keep in mind I am still renting a cheapie on the side & which is costing me an arm & a leg.

Received a call from the sales executive yesterday & to notify me - sorry, Nissan SA didn't allocate any manual Magnites to our branch (but Milnerton branch got 2), so we don't have your car! And on top of that - sorry, we really can't say WHEN it will arrive. It might be end of January, even end of February, but we can't guarantee it.

I can't cancel the deal now & go elsewhere as vehicle prices increased yesterday & it's not feasible to go elsewhere. On top of that it's December. Stock are limited all over!! I saved for a long time to buy this car. I were SO excited about buying my 1st brand new car. But alas, I'm sitting with tears in my eyes & a huge dissapointment around Nissan's new vehicle sales!

Why then do you advertise the vehicle if you can't produce?? It's **** advertising isn't it?

VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!
