Gearbox Issues with less than 35000km, bad service aswell.
I bought Nissan Magnite in 2022 and since then it’s been mechanical issues one after another. I will never advise anyone to buy a nissan car ever.
Currently my car has been at the dealership for almost 3 weeks now(in fact it will be 3 weeks tomorrow). They say the problem is gear box. Please note that my car has less than 35000km since I bought it. I really took care of it and all of a sudden it has a gearbox issue.
Well then I took the car to Nissan Lephalale( nearest dealership, where I bought the car) and they couldn’t diagnose it properly at first, they called me and told me that the car has been fixed, only to find that it still has the same issue. After two attempts then they said the issue is gearbox.
I have been waiting for them to claim the gearbox from warranty which is taking forever to respond and I was not even offered a curtesy car. When I asked Lephalale Nissan about a curtesy car I was told that there is no curtesy car for me “unfortunately”, I don’t even know what that means. I called Nissan South Africa already and no one is assisting me.
The most painful part is that I am paying for a car that I am not using, now I have to take a taxi whereas I am paying for a car that is chilling at the dealership. Truly speaking Nissan owes me the money I paid for this month for the car. I am now seeking legal advice because I cannot be paying for a car that I am not using while I am not getting any answers from the dealership or even a mere curtesy for the mean time.
I will never buy a nissan car or advise anyone to buy straight, I will eventually gather the courage and take this to social media. We young girls are taken for a ride because we don’t know much about cars.
