False advertising from Nissan about the servicing of their vehicles under warranty

To quote directly from the Nissan SA website page https://www.nissan.co.za/owners/nissan-assured.html:

"We will arrange a courtesy car for all warranty repairs should the components required not be available within 48 hours."

There's no small print, no "subject to availability", etc. Just that statement. Bold, brash and comforting...... until you need to put Nissan to its word.

My car's gearbox is under warranty but FIVE WORKING DAYS after leaving my car with Nissan Pietermaritzbug I am still waiting for their courtesy car. I explained on day ONE that we only have that car, so desperately need a courtesy car, but does it seem to matter to Nissan? No.

After having been stonewalled by Erin in the servicing dept in Pietermaritzburg for 3 days, and escalating the problem to Darryl, the Dealer Principle of Nissan Pietermaritzburg, I contacted Nissan S.A. Customer Care first thing this morning, to be told that I'd be given an update "later today, if not tomorrow" (that's not a good way to instill confidence!).

There's still no sign of a courtesy car, nor an offer to provide one. And Eugene, of the Customer Care dept at headquarters, who I spoke to this morning, tells me that there is effectively invisible small print on their website, claiming that I "must understand" that cars are subject to availability.

Nissan are not shy at trying to take your money though. The number of times Nissan Pietermaritzburg's sales staff phone myself AND my wife one our cell phones, wanting to sell us another car is ridiculous. I'd like to place a bet that will however still continue,

Nissan, do you really appreciate that buying a new car is a huge financial investment?. The attitude of both the local dealership and Nissan S.A. is though I had bought a loaf of bread, not a car.
