false advertising
<p>i went on to mccarthy nissan germiston site and they had a specail advertised with a picture NP 300 hard body for 199,900 so i clicked on picture it gives me another picture where u can select colour etc and then it gives u an option to get some one to contact u and i selected it i was contacted and told the sales person i was intersted in the NP300 hard body double cab that they advertising for 199,900</p> <p>she said she will need some info for me to see if il get finance etc i gave every thing she asked for. finally when finance is approved she calls me to tell me and that some one will be calling me</p> <p>to finalze purchase , then tells me that it a blue NP300 hard body single cab ,so i stopped her and siad sorry from the adevertisment it shows a double cab on the site and even lets u change the colour etc. she tells me she gonna talk to her manager and get back to me. and the answer i get back from them is oh sorry its a mistake its supose to be a sigle cab. nothing else and if u go to mccarthy nissan germiston web pages ul see they still havent changed it or removed just carry on like its normal to advertise like that and catch people like that very disapointed by this dealership</p>

i was contacted by Nissan head office to tell me some one will be contacting.
well i was contacted on friday and was told they will look in to the matter i explain how disapointing it is to go through the whole process and when its almost finalized u get told that sorry its a single cab as it says starting from 199900, but once again i said then u shouldnt put a double cab on the adverticement or on the page where u select some one to contact u as even on that page u get a double cab and a section where u can view diffrent colours available most sites will give u a picture of two or three vehicles so u know its this or this but having one picture of a double is very decieving or at least when u seclect 199900 it should take u to a picture of a single cab, but as i see it its a **** to get people to do all of this and then if they catch 3 or 4 people out 10 they happy for the sale, all i say is to me its false avertising but according to them its not because it says from,

what else that is strange all other new car on web page advertise the correct style of car and then below it states u get a 1.5 or 2.0 or2.4 etc but on the NP300 Hard body they put a picture of a Double cab and only after uve gone to the page where u can see colours and scroll down do they metion SC on dicription of engine size etc

i still belive its false advertising to put a picture of a double cab and then say from 199900 as there no model of double cab thats for 199900 so to me the picture should be of a single cab

and why over the phone and in person agree its a bit confussing and appologise to me and tell me they will try see what they can do for me i must give them till monday
and today i get email after email insisting that if i scroll down i will see it says sc.
