DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTISE!!!

Our Pathfinder broke down near Komatipoort in July 2016 and was towed to Nissan Nelspruit. They inspected the vehicle and a week later informed us that the turbo and intercooler has failed. First they quoted R110 000 but after we complained the amount suddenly became R65000. They ordered the turbo which we waited 3 weeks for but only when the turbo arrived, they did a compression test to find reduced compression on piston 1 and 6. At that point the repairs will cost us another R150 000! Nobody can afford R215 000 in repairs. And if they had done the compression test when inspecting the car, we would not have opted to repair the vehicle with Nissan. Nissan now refuses to give back my vehicle or the deposit we paid of R35000. We have been without our main vehicle for almost a year now. And was forced to buy another vehicle. When we sent a tow truck on our expense to go fetch the vehicle they refused to let our vehicle go because apparently we still owed them R5000 odd?! They did not do a proper assessment of the required repairs which is costing me a boat load of time and money. Every month we pay R12000 for a vehicle that we dont have and cant use. We have sent emails to the email address on their website and also the email address in their paia manual but received no reply. We spoke to the workshop manager Fanie and he simply denies any responsibility and insists we pay a further R5000 before releasing the vehicle in pieces!! We have waited long enough for them to remedy the situation. Please contact me on ********** 595.
