Disgusting Responce and Attitude

I drive a Nissan Bakkie NP*** model. I own 3 of them. I have done the 15c000km service in July 2014. I run a busy company and am on the road most of the time however this particular 1 is on +- 39 000 km at the moment and suddenly the timing belt snapped being in a situaution I called Nissan SouthAfrica and explained to them what transpired they are not willing to assist in any regard and are very arrogant when speaking to clients. I will never support Nissan again and I will also advise one and all to do the same as the support received is disgusting for a well known company. They are also selling a renault van with a Nissan badge. the service book clearly states that the timing belt should only be replaced at a much higher mileage. It doesnt mean i missed the 30 000km service they cannot assist and solve the clients problem.
They are only interrested in making money and sweet talking people that they are the best when the after service is rediculous. I am selling all 3 my nissan bakkies and purchaseing 3 brand new Chevrolet Bakkies.
I dont wnt to see or hear about Nissan again. For the rest of my life. the products are of poor quality and the after service is just as bad.

Hello Jaanu1604,

Thank you for your comments and Nissan SA is fully aware of the concern relating to your vehicle.

Kindly note in order for Nissan SA to approve a warranty repair whilst the vehicle is still under the New Vehicle Warranty, the vehicle needs to be maintained and serviced through any authorized Nissan dealership.

We refer to your warranty and information & Maintenance booklet, which states that Nissan vehicles are required to be serviced every 15000kms or/ 12 months through an approved dealership.

The reason behind recommended service schedule by manufactures is to optimise the life and efficiency of the vehicle to avoid unnecessary deterioration. Should any failure occur, relating to any service interval being missed , Nissan SA Warranty will not cover the repair costs however should the failure not be related to the missed service, Nissan SA will consider percentage contribution.

Kind regards,

Sharnie Malan
