DISGRACEFUL AFTER SALES SERVICE
We have purchased a number of Nissan NP200 1.6 8V for our business. These are working business vehicles. On Monday 02/12/2024 one of the vehicles, still under warranty, would not select any gears. We contacted CMH Hillcrest immediately and were told that they could not assist we would need to contact Nissan Roadside Assist. We tried from 08h00 to 11h30 with no success finally resorting to an online chat facility where we were told that unfortunately roadside assists lines were down and they would escalate via email to obtain assistance, We were eventually contacted provided with a reference number and assured the vehicle would be collected imminently. A few hours passed with no contact so we called again only to be told that the dealership had cancelled the booking and they would now only be able to collect the vehicle the following day. The vehicle was collected on the 03/12/24 and taken to CMH hillcrest. To date we have had no feedback unless we call to follow up, despite expressing the urgency, as this is our busiest time of the year. Today after escalating to the dealers service Manager Sunil we are told that the vehicle has a gear box problem and they will strip next week send for review and revert. Again we express our desperation due to business requirements and get told Sorry we have to follow procedure but once we know what the problem is next week, we will advise on the way forward and only if there is a part which is not immediately available, then Nissan will arrange alternate Mobility. We asked Sunil if he could escalate this to senior management or the directors who are able to make a call in respect of arranging alternate mobility to which the response was NO the dealership has to follow procedure. Honestly when NISSAN Sell you the vehicle they run around you like your are Royalty but once those papers have been signed that is the end of them treating your business as a priority. Sadly from the day this vehicle was purchased it was reported to have a loud whine in the gearbox and was assessed by CMH Hillcrest who advised that they can hear the noise but could not find a problem. NISSAN SA needs to revisit the training of their staff and the procedures they have in place. WE ARE ABSOLUTELY APPALLED!!!
