Disappointing Experience with Nissan Magnite Brakes

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my Nissan Magnite purchase. I bought the car on the 16th May 2023, and have since experienced numerous issues with the brakes.

The squeaking and grinding noises began shortly after purchase. I took the car back to the dealership on the 24th May 2023, and was told it was a manufacturing issue. Despite multiple cleaning attempts and assurances, the problem persisted.

I have visited the dealership several times, including for the car's 1-year service. This is incredibly frustrating, especially considering the minimal mileage on the car.

Today, I was informed that the brakes have only 2000km left and need to be replaced. This is a significant red flag, as previous cars I have owned have typically required brake replacements around 30,000km.

I feel that I have exhausted all options and have been met with unsatisfactory responses. I am deeply disappointed with the quality and reliability of my Nissan Magnite and would like to seek advice on how to proceed.

Follow-Up: Disappointment with Nissan Magnite Brakes

I am writing to follow up on my previous complaint regarding the issues I have encountered with my Nissan Magnite brakes. I am disappointed to hear that Nissan South Africa is now stating that they would have been able to assist if my brakes were not worn.

I would like to reiterate that my initial concerns about the brakes began on May 24, 2023, just eight days after purchasing the brand new car. If Nissan had addressed these issues promptly, the situation would not have escalated to the point where the brakes are now worn at 11,000km.

I believe that Nissan's current stance is both unfair and unsatisfactory. I have consistently raised my concerns and sought assistance, only to be met with delays and inadequate solutions.

I kindly request that Nissan South Africa reconsider their position and take responsibility for the ongoing issues with my vehicle's brakes.
