dealership was not transparent and power customer services.

we bought a car from this company IC Nissan Benoni, as per the ad on cars.co.za the car was a rental and sold to nissan according to my understanding, we went to view the car on saturday the 12th of May and then test drove the car and it was okay, due to excitement we didnt check the certain trival things as we assumed that the car was in good condition given the fact that Nissan is a reputable dealer.

A day or two after receiving the car we noticed that the cars alignment was extremely of, we called the dealer and we were advised that we should return the car and they will fix it, the car was then returned to us with an invoice from the place that did the alignment, they advised that there was a fault on the steering. The sales person of the dealer advised that a RWC was done on the car, i had requested for a copy of the road worthy certificate on the 14th of May to date i have not received it.

Yesterday on the 22nd, as my wife was coming from school she drove past the shops to get something, when returning to the car it didnt want to start, she had to ask help from a total stranger to help her kick start the car, and secondly the battery of the car keys was also flat, and thirdly the car is now making a rattling noise on the bonnet i think one of the rubbers is missing. Know regarding the keys, she couldnt use that key as the battery was flat plus the car battery was also flat, she needed to ask someone to fetch the spare key in order to switch on the ignition of the car, the car is now bringing up a message asking a authentication code for the new/spare key which was never given to us, ...the car according to my opinion is not road worthy yet we have to use it... i thought buying a car from the dealer was a good decision given the fact that its from Nissan but its has become a nightmare... and at this stage we dont want the car anymore,,,, do we have any rights to return the vehicle, as the Consumer protecting act state that we have the right to return a product/ goods that are defective to the supplier and ask that they be repaired or replaced.
