Dealer fails to do rust repair
Kindly note that I bought a new vehicle from Nissan in April 2015.
The warranty (3 years) include annual service and rust inspection every six months. The warranty expired 1April 2018 but I do have a maintenance service plan until March 2019.
During February 2018 my vehicle was due for a rust inspection (six months since the last inspection as required). I contacted Nissan Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth to make an arrangement for this.
I was informed by a consultant Caroline Whitford that the rust inspection would be done when the vehicle is due for annual service in April 2018.
The vehicle went for service on 4 April 2018 and a rust inspection was done and the rust report showed that repairs should be done on the vehicle.
I am having problems with the dealer to have the repairs done on the vehicle. I am firstly told that the warranty has expired and that I should make arrangements with their customer care services. The customer care services agents are referring me back to the dealer. No one seems to care and I do not get any feedback on my emails.
It has been two months since the inspection was done. It should also be noted that this is not the first time that Nissan Port Elizabeth is fails to do repairs on my vehicle.
