Damaged gearbox
The Nissan Pathfinder seems to have an manufacturing problem on its automatic gearboxes and after ex amount of km the cooling system fails that leaks water into the gearbox, this is now what happened to my Pathfinder and due to the fact that it is out of motor plan (the gearbox lasts till it is out of motor plan at about 195000 km) and even over the km for the motor plan Nissan does not take any responsibility for the damage that happens, this water leak destroyed the inside of the gearbox and must be completely rebuild. It seems to be a major problem on the 2005
