Hi My mother bought a Audi Q5 2.0T 2010 model from Nissan Edenvale last year October. On the first day when we took the car home it gave us a problem. The engen oil light came on. We reported the matter to the dealership and they took the car and sent it to Audi dealership in east rand to run some oil consumption tests. They picked up a problem that the car is using too much. They replaced some valves and then told us if the car continues like this we must bring it for the second test. The car did give us a problem and we took it back. They advices us to keep buying oil. Earlier this year we had a breakdown and the car was taken by insurance to Audi sandton. They picked up the very same problem and other gear box problems. We reported the matter to Nissan edenvale and they told us their warranty will fix the car. It’s been 2 to 3 months now and the car to be fixed is worth morethan the car itself. The manager at Nissan is not honest with us and they say we must pay R30000 to settle this car and get a new car for the 10000 km we driven the car, which is rediculous. They promised to give us a new car of the same value but now they not returning our calls and my mother is paying installments every month. We need help on this matter. To get a new car or cancel the deal with Nissan people as they are not honest and they don’t take their customers serious.
