Blueticked by Nissan South Africa
I have been subject to the WORST customer service experience. Shortly before my 10 00km service, my windscreen wipers were faulty (which I was unaware of) and it scratched my windscreen. When I took my car in for the service around October 2024, to the Alberton branch, I enquired if Nissan would cover the cost for the windscreen to be replaced. On two separate occasions, a video was taken for warranty, further scratching the windscreen.
The branch replaced the windscreen wipers free of charge, but after numerous follow-ups according to warranty, because I knew the windscreen wipers were faulty and still decided to use them, Nissan was not going to replace the windscreen. I find that statement insulting and an attack on my character. I had absolutely NO idea that the windscreen wipers were faulty. The car is brand new! I phoned Nissan South Africa on December 12th to escalate the matter.
I have received ZERO communication from Nissan South Africa regarding my case. I followed up three times via email between January and February and even tried to call but was unable to get through to anyone. On the third attempt, I sent an email voicing my displeasure regarding the treatment I have received. On March 1st, I was notified via email that another case had been generated and that it would be a priority.
But again, radio silence. It has been three months since I logged the initial case and my car is due for its 20 000km service. The mere fact that I have driven an additional 10 000km and this issue has still not been sorted out is disappointing. Please advise who I can speak to escalate this matter.
