Bad service

Dear Nissan South Africa Customer Service Team and WesBank Vehicle Finance Division,

I am writing to express my extreme concern and disappointment regarding the persistent issues with my Nissan Magnite (VIN: MDHFBADD0Z***, Registration Number: LN 23 RZ GP), which I purchased on December 5th, 2023, through financing provided by WesBank.

Despite numerous reports and services, the vehicle continues to experience: 1. Abnormal sounds (present since purchase) 2. Random shutdowns while driving 3. Brake errors 4. Refusal to start (requiring brake hold) 5. Bent ABS brake line/pipe (identified during first service)

The issues persist despite: 1. Replacement of battery 2. First service (early booking) 3. Second service (November 15th, 2024) During the second service, I was informed that the front brake pads have worn down due to the bent ABS brake line/pipe, allegedly caused by me. I find this unacceptable, as the issue was present from day one. I am alarmed by the vehicle's unpredictable behaviour, which poses a significant risk to my safety. I know have to pay the brake pads and the ABS brakes line/pipe as it is not under warranty. What will happen 2 years from now ? As someone working irregular shifts, I rely heavily on this vehicle. I request: 1. Immediate investigation into the root cause of the shutdowns 2. Resolution of all outstanding issues 3. Warranty coverage for the bent ABS brake line/pipe 4. Compensation for the scratches sustained during one of the incidents Until these concerns are addressed, I will not fetch the car. I urge you to take my complaints seriously and provide a prompt resolution.

Best Regards, Bongane Mahlangu *** ***
