Bad Service and Repairs
If you can not take your Nissan, to Nissan, for repairs, where do you take it?
We took our NP200 1.5 dci bakkie to Kempton Park Nissan due to the temperature warning light coming on, and loosing power on the bakkie with pull away.
The bakkie stood there for a week, with very little feedback from them, and they got frustrated if we phoned them to get feedback. They changed the diesel filter and said there was water in the diesel filter, then they changed the temperature sensor, but it still had the same problem. According to them they could not pick up the fault on their diagnostic testing machine and wanted to change the whole wiring harness for R7800, and they couldn't say that the bakkie would be fixed after that. It cost us in the end R1700 with the problem still remaining.
We fetched the bakkie and took it to a Renault Specialist in Pretoria, R800.00 and 2 hours later, the bakkie was fixed.
Where do your mechanics get their certifications and training?
