************ at best
24 April 2025, I communicated with Nissan dealership Group 1 The Glen's (Group 1) parts department. I explained that I had misplaced both sets of keys for my vehicle and require a replacement. I received and subsequently paid the provided quotation for a replacement key on 25 April 2025. Vehicle was towed to Nissan Group 1 The Glen on 30 April 2025. 5 May 2025, I received a telephone call from Group 1 informing me that the vehicle was ready for collection as the job was done. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the vehicle had not yet been coded to the new key and was still in the workshop. The technician present, indicated that they were unable to assist further with the process. I do not understand how when it is their vehicle and the dealership Group 1 even requested that I collect my vehicle, but where must I take it to because its their make? I posses call records where I phoned Nissan SA (call center) several times between 29 March 2025 to date and Group 1 several times from 24 April 2025 to date. I have emails sent to Service Advisor and management of Group 1. I have no estimated repair time for my vehicle, have no confirmation that they can do the job, I receive no updates unless I phone Group 1 and Nissan SA, and they both say different things, blaming each other. I have received no response from the Nissan online complaints system to date. We are now in July and R27k later in payment for parts, I am still car less. I have gone to the ombudsman and they did not even bother to respond. I have been ****** of my vehicle and money and have nothing to show for it
