Almost 4 weeks without my vehicle – still waiting for courtesy car authorization

I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my current situation with Nissan South Africa.

My vehicle has now been off the road for almost four weeks, and I have been without a vehicle for this entire period.

I opened a case with Nissan (Case ***3) and have followed the required escalation process. The NISSPA number was provided, the required validation was completed, and the dealership confirmed that all the necessary information had been received.

I was subsequently advised that the courtesy vehicle request is awaiting management authorization.

My concern is not that an internal approval process exists — I understand that approvals need to be obtained. My concern is the length of time this has taken and the lack of a clear timeframe for resolution. After almost four weeks without my vehicle, I expected the matter to be treated with considerably more urgency.

I have also formally lodged a complaint with Nissan Customer Support, and their response today confirmed that the request is still awaiting authorization.

I would, however, like to acknowledge Uyyoyo from Customer Support, who has been extremely helpful, professional and responsive throughout this process. She has genuinely tried to assist me, and I have no complaint regarding her service.

My frustration is with the delay in the overall process and the lack of urgency at the authorization stage.

I would like Nissan to please urgently resolve this matter and provide me with a clear decision regarding the courtesy vehicle.

Case: ***3
