90+ Days waiting for a part - Inconveniencing my life!!!

Having a terrible experience with Nissan SA.

My vehicle went in for an alternator repair on the 26th of February. It has been 90+ days that I have been waiting for this part and apparently there's no ETA still on the part.

Nissan SA had given me a replacement rental vehicle which I've been using for the past 90 days (by the way had to fight with them for a vehicle that atleast has an aircon).

90 days later we are nearing a family trip that we have been planning for the past year and I made contact with Nissan SA to inform them that I would need a larger rental vehicle as I meant to trade in my vehicle and get a larger vehicle ahead of the my trip.

Now due to Nissan i am not able trade in my vehicle and upgrade to a larger vehicle. All my plans are now inconvenience and I must incur more costs or cancel my trip due to Nissan.

This is completely unacceptable from such a giant car manufacturer. I am completely shocked , I have asked Nondi from Nissan SA to assist and because I requested a vehicle that has an aircon and they had to change the initial rental vehicle , she says she cannot assist.

I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST THAT YOU FIX MY VEHICLE SO I CAN DO AS I PLEASE!!!

Please assist NISSAN you are really inconveniencing my life and it's been more than 90 days that I'm waiting!!!

Dear Dylon, thank you for sharing your experience with us. As discussed with Monica Gouws we have managed to secure the part in the dealer network and an inter dealer purchase is in progress. Rest assured that your case manager will continue to monitor the matter and keep you updated. Kind regards Nissan S.A

This is amazing Nissan. I should have spoken to Monica about 90 days ago as she literally made this part manifest overnight as Parts manager Cobus at the edenvale branch and Gontse from customer care have advised me on a weekly basis that there are no parts in the country and neither do we have any ETA on when the part will arrive into SA. Yet when queried with Monica , it appears the part is available the very next day. I am skeptical as to how this part is all of a sudden readily available and I also hope they are putting in an original nissan part and not an aftermarket/sub-standard part in order to resolve my query.

Dear Dylon, the part secured for your vehicle is a geniune Nissan component supp**** and warranted by Nissan S.A. As confirmed we have managed to secure the part at a Nissan dealership and the interdealer transfer is in progress. Kind regards Nissan S.A
