Review of 9 Palms by Smart City Stays Century City (6–7 February)

I am utterly disgusted by my experience at this property. From the moment I walked in, the lack of cleanliness was glaring—chipped mugs and glasses, filthy lamp shades, and cracks along the walls. But the worst part? The MULTIPLE bed bugs crawling all over the bed. The bedding was torn, and the infestation was so severe that we had no choice but to sleep on the floor.

Attempts to contact management were a complete joke—none of the provided numbers were answered despite repeated calls, and even a message sent through Booking.com went ignored. Yet, the company’s response afterward was to shift blame, claiming they weren’t informed during the stay. That is simply false, as we tried multiple times to reach them.

This place is a health hazard and should not be renting out rooms in this condition. Clearly, deep cleaning is nonexistent, and customer service is equally appalling. I will never set foot here again, and I strongly urge others to avoid this property at all costs.
