Unprofessional Conduct and Misleading Settlement Agreement – Nimble Group
I am extremely disappointed and angry at the unprofessional manner in which Nimble Group has handled my settlement arrangement.
I was issued a settlement letter confirming that R5,624 was payable by 30 September 2026. I paid R3,000 on 15 September and advised that I would pay the remaining R2,624 at month-end.
I contacted your offices to confirm receipt of my payment, which was confirmed by Nomafa Njikelana. She explicitly advised me that I could pay the outstanding R2,624 on 30 September. However, on the very day I was supposed to make payment, she called to apologise and claim she had made a mistake, insisting that I must pay R3,000 instead.
How can a company issue settlement terms, confirm payment arrangements and then change them at the last minute because of an employee's mistake? I am not responsible for your consultant's errors, and I refuse to bear the consequences of your staff's incompetence.
I acted in good faith and made payment based on the arrangement communicated to me. I demand that Nimble Group honour that arrangement and issue me with a settlement letter confirming the remaining R2,624 required to close this account.
This conduct is unprofessional and unacceptable. I expect accountability and an urgent resolution, not excuses. I simply want to settle my account and move on without being penalised for your employee's mistake.
