Refusing to issue my paid up letter
received an SMS and email from Nimble Group offering a one-time settlement on my FNB account with a 60% discount, allowing me to settle the account for R4,640.26, provided payment was made within the stated period. The communication clearly invited me to reply, contact Nimble, or make payment via their self-service channels, including WhatsApp. Based on this written offer, I contacted Nimble via their WhatsApp channel to request the settlement and proceeded to make payment. I made payment on 3 December, within the discount period, and submitted proof of payment and the required letter. Despite this, Nimble Group is now refusing or delaying to issue a paid-up / settlement letter and to close the account. I was advised on WhatsApp that the payment was made “without confirming the arrangement”, which is unfair, as the written offer did not state that further confirmation was required before payment. I comp**** fully with the settlement terms as communicated by Nimble Group, yet my account has not been marked as settled. I am requesting: Immediate issuance of a paid-up / settlement letter
Written confirmation that the account is closed and marked as settled I ask Nimble Group to resolve this matter urgently and in line with the settlement offer provided.
