PRESCRIBED DEBT

Dear Nimble Group,

I refer to my previous correspondence regarding the account listed in my credit report, which has prescribed in terms of Section 10(1) of the Prescription Act 68 of 1969, read with the National Credit Act (NCA).

Despite granting you 20 days to respond via email, you have failed to acknowledge or provide the required prescription confirmation letter. I also wish to place on record that TransUnion has confirmed that this debt has prescribed.

In terms of the law, once a debt has prescribed, you are prohibited from attempting to collect, list, or demand payment thereof. You are further compelled to furnish me with written confirmation that the account has prescribed and that no further collection action will be taken.

Please note that I have already escalated this matter to the National Credit Regulator (NCR)

Dear Nimble Group,
I refer to my previous correspondence dated 25 August 2025 regarding the account listed on my credit report, which has prescribed in terms of Section 10(1) of the Prescription Act 68 of 1969, read together with the National Credit Act (NCA).
Despite your assurance to revert within 20 days, you have failed to do so. This lack of response is not only unprofessional but entirely uncalled for, particularly given the seriousness of the matter and your legal obligations.
TransUnion has already confirmed that this debt has prescribed. As you are aware, once a debt has prescribed, you are legally prohibited from attempting to collect, list, or demand payment. You are also compelled to provide written confirmation that the account has prescribed and that no further collection action will be taken.
I expect your immediate attention to this matter and a formal written response without any further delay.
