Prescribed account NGW005493

The above-mentioned account has prescribed more than 5 years ago, and this company keeps SMSing me to settle 50% of the account by a certain date.<br> <br> When calling their call centre at ***, the agents pretend to not know what prescription debts mean, and on another occasion an agent says there is no such account on their system. I have also rep**** to the SMS they sent me as it asks that you reply YES, but when sending through my query I get absolutely no response. What is also very disturbing is that they are claiming that the balance on the account is nearly 5 times what the original prescribed debt was. How is this possible that they add that much interest to an account which is no longer even in existence?<br> <br> Please update or remove my details from your database or I will report this matter to the Ombudsman.
