NIMBLE GROUP | OUTSOURCING DEBT COLLECTING TO "BOTS & AI" | LOST ALL SENSE OF HUMAN ENAGEMENT TO SOLVE HUMAN PROBLEMS
Its not a secret that by the month more and more South African citizens are defaulting on payment and taking serious strain, some of it is by their own doing and some of it is economic related.. I unfortunately made some bad decisions and ended up with debt. It has taken me years to recover and I vowed that I will repay this. So the Nimble group has obviously taken over my account and been sending me marketing offers to settle my debt from time to time and also offering credit to selective people.
My complaint is simple, I am ready to settle my debt, I sent an email to Ranchal Lodewyk with email address: ***. I asked her (thinking that this might be a female) three times if you can verify yourself to be a human? Every time I get the same response which was: "Hi Lucas Visser,
Please confirm if you are able to settle your account with the amount R7,992.01 with payment date as it needs to be captured on your account.
Confirmation of arrangement, settlement letter as well as banking details will be provided once the arrangement is in place.
Please note the payment will be invalid if the discounted settlement has not been activated.
That is it.. Nothing more, nothing less... I even told this person that how in Gods green earth can I trust just anyone who sends me a name and account number that I can trust them? What about debt collecting agents providing the public with more security that who they say they are is indeed so..?
Debt collectors view people who owe money as low level even though its the elephant in the room.. I strongly believe that if they change their strategy towards people who defaulted and got into trouble it will truly help the general culture of paying your debts..
Nimble Group, you are debt collecting and providing credit to people.. Its the two things that are not good for any society globally..
Fortunately for me I am in the technology field and I recently designed a customer support porthole on Freshdesk. This is the website that Nimble uses to reach the people like me.. In Freshdesk their are "bots" that act as agents.. So what the companies do is that they attach a person's name (debt collecting agent) and the freshdesk account (email based) together and just like that you create a humanoid bot to engage with people. This drops your overheads significantly as you now only need half the staff compliment to get throught your support calls.
Well the problem is, is that this is PEOPLE you have to deal with.. we the people who got into trouble (some only once in their life) is also a PERSON... It requires a human to deal with credit solutions and talk with people not humanoids..
Nimble Group, by removing the human out of the equisation you will not attain a higher conversation rate on collecting your debt.. Change your strategy and employ people who can deal with people.
