Absolute nonsense. I had a loan with Capitec which was handed over when I lost my job. When I got a new job I started paying off again but had to start the loan with interest pretty much from the start which was R46 000.00. Then covid happened and I lost my income for a few months once again, I did send the lawyers my letter from my work stating my salary has been affected yet they did not care for it and I guess sold my debt (which was R27 000 at the time) to Nimble group. I have been battling for months for them to contact me as I was not happy they wanted me to start from R46 000.00 again which I do not believe is legal. Now they want to push me into a corner saying they will give me 40% discount to settle over 3 months, which is exactly what I actually owe (R27 000). They said nothing will change and if I don't make a payment arrangement for this and pay it that it will be handed over to the lawyers etc. I do not know what to do now, I cannot pay the same loan 3 times???
