Consultants harassing 10yrs old on his phone.

I recently bought my son a phone which he's been looking forward to for his birthday (he just turned 10), new number and everything. Not a day goes by and a call comes in...its NIMBLE's consultants who have no shred of decency, this excuse of a woman proceeds to harass my son asking him idiotic questions such as "I need to speak to a Mr X", "Where did you get the number", "Do you know Mr X?" what baffles me is how she just refused to accept the fact that she has the wrong number. 2 days later, it rings while on my desk and i answer...again, NIMBLE's collections consultant, this time asking to speak to a "Miss M" to which i repeat the same thing my son explained the first time someone called. I'm promised the number will be removed and i send an email just for good measure. Life goes on. Today (13/08/2024) the phone rings on my desk, its a weird number that hangs up as soon as i answer, this happens twice then finally...a NIMBLE consultant who, this time...is asking for a "Mr Z" and at this point, im seeing red! EVERYTHING i was promised was never done and i didnt get an email response (now that i check). This excuse of a consultant proceeds to ask me "Where did he get the number" to which i respond "What kind of question is that, how about you ask Vodacom?". (Now hear me, even if the number was recycled and allocated to my son, how did you get hold of your clients prior to this number being "active" again? Are you telling me that for those months or years before activation, your consultants have been trying the number over and over again until finally my son activated it? In what world does that make sense?) And right on cue, the attitude is aimed squarely at me (now i see what my son had to go through) I cant stress enough the trauma your consultants has caused to my son...Notice i said "The phone rang on my desk?" Yes! He doesn't want the phone anymore, you have single handedly ruined my son's 10th birthday...In the 10 years i have raised him, i have NEVER seen or heard him be adamant about not wanting something that was bought for his birthday and for him to be so steadfast on his decision after nagging for MONTHS!!!!. Congratulations! Your consultants are emotionless pathetic excuses of human beings that are trained to disregard others and treat everyone like a ****. I know its your job to not believe the things people say to you and your consultants, i just dont understand how this is still going on even after my due diligence...This is a direct violation of the POPIA act...The next call i receive on this phone will be brought to the attention of the Information Regulator. And...that lady that called me today to argue with me over my sons number, needs to be fired.
