Nike.com - Non-delivery, no communication, lack of refund

I've had the most shocking experience with Nike.com. I ordered some items from their website on 28 August 2025 with an expected delivery date of 16 September 2025 (which is already long in today's age of online shopping). When trying to track my order I got a message that the order doesn't exist which was already alarming. On 30 September when I phoned the Nike call centre to find out why my order has still not arrived I was informed that the items I ordered was out of stock which 1) was a surprise as I ordered 4 items, 3 different products that were all suddenly out of stock, 2) I find it alarming that Nike couldn't let me know in more than a month that the items I ordered was out of stock and 3) if I never followed up would they just have said nothing and kept my money. Their resolution to this seriously flawed process is to offer me 20% off of a future purchase and refund my money (which they've had for 33 days already without saying anything about the items I ordered being out of stock) in 10 business days which is 14 days from today. This means they will refund my money 47 days after my order - for items they now say they didn't have in the first place. I don't see how this is acceptable practices by a brand like Nike. I'm one seriously disappointed customer.

Note: When clicking on "Terms of Sale" on the nike.com website it directs to an eshopworld domain, so not even sure if nike.com website is legitimate. There is also no email address for Nike that I can find on their website - the only email address I can find on their website is *** which is on this suspect link from their "terms of sale" link on the footer of their website. Note 2: Has nobody advised these large companies to not implement AI chatbots for client service if they can't comprehend the issue a client is raising. Nike.com's AI chatbot is extremely poor at resolving client query
