Paid up letter!!!!!!

I paid off my account on Monday.I was told I would get my paid up letter the following day,4 days later I am still waiting!!!!why is that you are so quick to put someone as a slow payer and when he finally pays you.you don't want to deliver his/her right to having a clean credit report..I just want to have my letter is that too much to ask for???
