No assistance

On 20 April, my debit order for Getbucks didn't go off. There were sufficient funds yet there was nothing presented? I was in class for a lot of the mk the and I have a problem with my EFT facility, so admittedly I took the opportunity to use the funds for medical bills for my child knowing that I would settle in May.

May comes, and I started calling Getbucks - no easy feat, as there is no contact number on their site, and the first number that comes up in Google doesn't exist. The next number I tried, I was on hold, '1st in line' for 45 minutes and gave up. I tried again the next day, and the day thereafter - same story, 1st in line but on hold for an eternity.

Eventually I called sales and asked if there was anyone working in collections and I was told they are all busy.

I eventually got hold of customer care, who said my account was handed over, so they gave me a new number to call.

I called the new number, to be told they also couldn't help me, I must call Shapiro Sheik Degrees.

I did so, and finally someone wanted to help! I asked if they could debit my account, which they first said yes to, and then later called and said it was too difficult to get the bank to debit the amount. Really? I tell you to take my money, and it's too difficult? If I tell you it's too difficult to pay my account will you accept?

So anyway, today I laid my arrears plus a little extra (I had planned to settle but if you don't want my money I will gladly hold onto it a little longer).

Is this really how you treat customers? I know my details weren't fully updated, but how do I update and enter into arrangements if no one answers their calls? And why was my debit order not presented when there were funds - so my account was in arrears which was a mission to resolve because of YOUR mistake?
