Sandton News Cafe

<p>Good day,</p> <p> </p> <p>i had the most terrible service at News Cafe in Sandton this past saturday. I was out with my friend ,we ordered a couple of drinks and food the mood was nice ,music was chilled until it was now time to leave that was around 3 in the morning and we had to settle the bill. So now the total bill was R970 and i needed to swipe to settle the bill cause i ddnt have cash on me. I tried swiping like 3 -4 times using different machines but still my card kept on declining due to network issues . I tried to explain to the manager( Jason) that i was at Standard earlier and they had system issues so that could be the reason why its declining . The manager however told me that im broke , im trying to take chances . Like he knows my financial status. So i stressed that lets find a Standard bank ATM so i can withdraw. This manager refused to listen to me but opted to clamp my car and call the cops. So when the cops came i told them what happened and they agreed to take to an ATM . So i got there and i dd withdraw ,paid the bill and requested to have the food i bought and my bottle wine with. But i was pushed around and the manger told me im nt that important of a customer to them. Nevermind i go to that News cafe atleast 2 weekends in the month. My image was tornished , i was insulted and disrespected and for paying client im quite disgusted by the level of commucationand unprofessinalism i received and for that i will never go to that News cafe.</p> <p>Thank You.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
