Pathetic service

Me & my pregnant wife pulled up at Newscafe Hatfield after our 1st trimester check up at the doctor'. Lemmie tell you the service is absolute garbage. First of all the waiter didn't introduce himself Secondly my pregnant wife ordered a virgin mojito, she was given an alcoholic mojito instead. We had to scream for attention as our no name waiter was busy having what seemed like an argument with a fellow waitress somewhere in the corner. We received no apology from neither the waiter or management, all the while both were present. Upon enquiry we were told the gentleman in a chef jacket was from head office. We hoped he would come to our table & get to the bottom of the matter since we were hailing for attention.

The food order came, all was good except my med rare turned out medium, the rocket salad with vinegrette dressing was nice my wife ordered extra salad , and what came was dry rocket leaves with heirloom tomatoes and red onion. The same salad did not taste the same so we returned it. It took 3 attempts to get it right. By that time we were so over this place.. We requested to see the chef but boy were we dreaming. We are never going back to that place, service is ****, staff is on holiday.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all. Go to Mug & Bean.
