News Cafe Midrand - A ******* Restaurant to be in

What a bad, horrible, nonsense this particular restaurant is! After reviewing a couple of grievances by other individuals on Hello Peter about this News Cafe Midrand, I must say I am not surprised. I have been their "loyal" customer for some time where I even felt its my home and have always respected their workers and management. Never mind ignoring their "poor marketing strategy" to give the struggling restaurant a boost! But guess what, I have recently managed to establish exactly why the place is like this. This is purely because of poor management and perhaps the so-called owners. Workers there (including the so-called managers on duty) feel so entitled and don't even give a damn about customer's rights. They have turned this ridiculous restaurant into nothing but a place of gossip mongers where workers (waiters / waitresses) sit and do nothing (but who would blame them when the restaurant is struggling like this). These workers know nothing about customer service etiquette and rules of conduct and ethics in a workplace. I doubt they even know such as stipulated by South African Government. Some workers there disrespect customers and nothing can be done about it. They do as they please because they have full support of the so-called management. I must also make mention that this so-called managers on duty are not fit enough to do their "simple" job i.e. ensuring efficient workflow and performance, no wonder why the restaurant is struggling this much. I am appalled but their behavior and disregard for customers. In conclusion, I would like to give News Cafe Midrand a very strong message that THIS IS MY BELOVED SOUTH AFRICA AND PEOPLE LIKE ME WILL ALWAYS FIGHT AND REFUSE TO BE TREATED OTHERWISE, LET ALONE BY FOREIGNERS WHO FEEL ENTITLED!!!
