Useless 3 Months of Excuses, No Service – Avoid Xtend Fibre

Public Warning: Xtend Fibre – Villa Lisa

For the third month running, residents of Villa Lisa have been paying Xtend Fibre for a service that is completely useless. Daily network interruptions, empty excuses, and constant blame-shifting to the municipality show utter incompetence and zero respect for paying customers.

We are paying for a service we cannot use, yet Xtend Fibre continues to fail, stall, and promise nothing of value. This is more than negligence — it is unprofessional, irresponsible, and unacceptable.

Xtend Fibre, your customers deserve reliable service, accountability, and immediate resolution. Anything less proves that you are not fit to deliver what you charge for.

 Good day,
We understand your frustration and sincerely apologise for the ongoing inconvenience.
To clarify, the interruptions in Villa Liza are not due to a fault on our network. The Point of Presence (POP) in your area was relocated to a new property after the previous property owner disconnected power and refused to restore it. We took immediate action to move the equipment to a different site to avoid prolonged downtime.
The new site requires municipal power activation. All necessary documentation has been submitted to the municipality, and we are continuously following up to have the power switched on. Unfortunately, we cannot compel the municipality to expedite the process.
In the meantime, we are cycling batteries to maintain service for as much of the day as possible. We assure you that we are doing everything within our control to restore full and consistent service as soon as power is reconnected.

Your repeated delays and vague explanations show utter disregard for paying customers. We are paying for a service that simply does not exist, and your inaction is unacceptable.

Xtend Fibre must provide a clear timeline and immediate resolution. Anything less is a demonstration of incompetence, unprofessionalism, and lack of accountability. Residents are fully within their rights to escalate this matter to regulatory authorities and consumer protection bodies if service is not restored promptly.

Good day,
We fully understand your frustration and assure you that we share your urgency to have the matter resolved.
To clarify, this situation is not due to inaction or disregard for our customers. The delay is entirely dependent on the municipality, who must activate power at the new site before full service can resume. All required documentation has been submitted, and we are following up with them daily. Unfortunately, we cannot enforce their timelines.
In the meantime, we continue to cycle backup batteries to keep the network operational for most of the day. This is not a permanent solution but the only available measure until municipal power is restored.
We remain committed to restoring full service as soon as possible and will communicate updates as they become available.

I kindly request that you provide a realistic estimated timeframe for full restoration, as well as information on what measures will be taken to compensate affected customers for the prolonged downtime. Regular communication is appreciated, but transparency regarding progress and expected timelines is equally important.

I trust that you will continue to follow up with the municipality and keep customers informed of any developments.
