I got a call from a tele-sales person offering me a value added service. This service was already covered in my insurance policy therefore I declined to take up the offer. When I checked my statement I noticed this additional fee had in fact been debited. I tried contacting the call centre numerous times to no avail. I then sent an email to customer service and got a response a week later not addressing my questions whatsoever. I finally got through to a department who could cancel my value added service, but they could not refund or prove I authorised this service. After many more call and departments I got through to a supervisor Bernice who said she could process the refund. By the end of the month no refund had come through. Now I checked my statement for this month and it has been debited again! This is pure theft, what does one have to do to get it cancelled and get my refunds? This call was in February and we now into June already. As an apology and act of goodwill I feel you should pay for the new transmitters and installation I require to continue my contract with Altec Nedstar???
