Netstar upgraded my vehicle’s tracking system last year but failed to remove the original device because, according to them, they couldn’t locate it on their system. The result? I now have two tracking devices in my SUV, with the old one periodically triggering false ignition/theft warnings while I am actually driving the vehicle. This is not merely irritating — it undermines confidence in a security service that I am paying for specifically to protect my vehicle. I contacted Netstar again last week. I was promised a call back within a day. A week later, I am still waiting. The irony is difficult to miss: a company whose business is built around tracking vehicles apparently cannot track down its own problem — or even follow up with a paying customer. Extremely poor service and even poorer accountability. Netstar needs to do better.
