Transfer of tracking device

Right up until February this year i was always a tracker customer, i decided to try Netstar due to UCount benefits and things were great. Until last Friday November the 13th when i decided to change the car. I am horrified to learn that in order to continue receiving the services from Altech i need to pay in R1600 to transfer or an upfront R2100 to settle. Now the sad part is that i no longer have the car for which i am paying and i also dont have the upfront amount to move the unit. Now what happens? I continue paying for a unit in a car that i no longer own? While the new vehicle remains at risk without any tracking device?
