Terrible Service and Business

This company does treat people well. They refused to remove their device from my car after multiple requests when my short-term insurance was cancelled. The device then started draining my brand new car battery (installed Jan 2024) and I brought this to Netstar's attention in September. Eventually my car battery became permanently faulty and I had to pay out of my own pocket to have an autoelectrician remove their tracker from my vehicle and replace that now damaged battery. Netstar was more concerned about recovering their tracker than the unnecessary impact and cost they had caused me (almost R2000). The autoelectrician indicated that this is typical of how they operate. Do not put a tracker in your car!

Just poor form. There was no contract! I never owed you anything to start with. Netstar was informed more than a month ago that the device was causing problems. You did nothing about it. What was I meant to do when my car wouldn't start at 6 pm on a Sunday night? Wait for you guys to do something? Read this folks! Evasive answer from the company that takes zero responsibility. But your technician almost fell over himself to get your device. Shameful.
