Stay far away from Netstar. They are unable to protect your personal information and banking details

On the 27 November 2025 I received an email to advise that Netstar had been the victim of a cyber attack and information respect of “former and current subscribers as at the 23 June 2025” may have information including name, contact details, ID, banking details, debit order details amongst others, been ****** in the attack.

It goes on to say that i may be exposed to “unauthorised debit order attempts, *****ulent account activity, identity theft “ amongst others

I have not had an active tracking service for a number of years and hence contacted Netstar to insisted that any information of mine was immediately deleted as it should not have been retained in my view nor in retained it could they protect it.

Instead I get a response that I must contact their Support Team or support microsite. No links ro either of these are provided. Moreover am advised that “each request will be assessed in line with our policies and applicable data protection legislation. So Netstar mess up royally yet now want to put me have to make application to sort out.

This is bizarre and ridiculous

Can’t help but wonder what other companies retain personal and confidential information notwithstanding contracts no longer existing. No wonder crime is rife with this sort of nonsense.
