Sent to Debt collectors

The dealership that i bought my car from told me that my tracking device will be included in my monthly installments but to mu surprise, i noticed that Altech was debiting from my account directly, i contacted them several times but i was always told to hold, from there the hung up. I then last week received a call from credit works debt collectors telling me they were sent by Altech that my outstanding balance of R710 must be paid by me. According to my knowledge, if no payment was made for a tracker then there will be no service, e.g, if you didnt make a payment then you are not covered for that month, i e-mailed them several times requesting cancellation but nothing happened. Why must i pay that amount even though i am not covered? if my car can get ****** will they help me? This is really unfair because i never spoke to anyone from Altech before everything was done for me by the dealer.
