On the 7/7/15, my mother was requested by her car insurance to drive her vehicle to the Altech Netstar fitment centre in Mthatha where a tracking unit would be installed in the vehicle. The vehicle had been bought on Friday the 3rd of July and was therefore functioning well. <br> After the installation, the wipers and indicators were not working. My mother was told to drive the vehicle in that condition and to take it to the car dealer in Mthatha for diagnosis and subsequent repairs. She was also told to pay for the repairs and then submit the invoice back to the installation centre for a refund. At this point I stepped in and told Edward, the owner of this fitment centre, that it would not be safe for my mother to drive this vehicle as it was now un-roadworthy and that the damage was caused by their incompetence and they should foot the bill and not inconvenience my mother. Edward brushed my concerns off as if this was not an issue. He further told me that they have no car available to give to us and that we should just leave our vehicle there until they are able to repair it. when the ignition was turned on, the dashboard warning lights all came on and the gear wont go into drive.
